COLLABORATION FRAMEWORK
Global Initiative for Countering Islamophobia and Antisemitism (GIIA)
Global Initiative to Combat Islamophobia and Antisemitism (GIIA) is a multi-year collaborative project under the New Ground Research Foundation. The initiative aims to strengthen and complement international approaches to combatting racism towards building more inclusive global societies. The GIIA represents a critical response to the urgent need for coordinated international action against two interconnected forms of discrimination that have intensified due to geopolitical developments.
Mediterranean Intercultural Narrative Advancement (MEDINA)
The MEDINA Initiative aims to enhance dialogue by reimagining the Mediterranean Sea not as a dividing border but a shared space of a complex historical relation of political, cultural, economic, and intellectual exchange between its shores. By exploring commonalities and differences in a constructive manner, it seeks to enhance connectivity, understanding, and to bridge gaps. It will emphasize the complex and interconnected histories of the shores of the Mediterranean, offering perspectives that highlight centuries of interaction, coexistence, and knowledge exchange.
